SEVAK GABRIELYAN BIO
Fr. Gabrielyan was born in Etchmiadzin, Armenia, and studied at the Vaskenian and Gevorkian Theological Seminaries in Armenia. He was ordained to the holy priesthood on April 22, 2012, by Bishop Artak Tikranyan, and served at the St. Gregory the Enlightener Cathedral in Yerevan.
With the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, the Catholicos of All Armenians, Fr. Gabrielyan arrived in the United States in 2013 and completed an internship at St. Gregory the Enlightener Church in White Plains, NY. He continued to serve as an intern at St. Mark Church of Springfield, MA, and became the parish’s full-time pastor on October 1, 2015.
With the blessing of the Primate of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church, Bishop Daniel Findikyan, Fr. Gabrielyan and his family moved to Boca Raton, Florida, where he continues his ministry as a Pastor of St. David Armenian Church.
Fr. Gabrielyan and his wife Yn. Julietta are blessed with three children, Anahit, Paul and David.
